💫WHO: A small group of supportive *women of all ages, from all backgrounds, and walks of life interested in a shift. *We welcome all women, including trans women, femme, non-binary, and gender-expansive folks who feel at home in a female-centered space.
🎭 WHAT: A 2 night, 3 Day Creative and expressive art retreat for exploration and restoration. ‘Restoring the Caretaker’ is our signature CWR retreat, where we use creative, reflective, and expressive tools to explore the role of the caretaker, and what else might be. In addition to the Restoration peice, we are also going to look into the Re-storying element….how do we look at our stories differently? What other roles do you want to cultivate in your life? What stands in the way? If you could shift the narrative, what other story would you want to tell about your life?
🌿 WHERE: Hudson Valley, NY, just 2 hours from NYC. We’ll gather at a private home, historically used as a healing retreat space for women. We’ll stay together, eat together, move together, create together, and do deep, joyful, and expressive work together. A lot can transform within the weekend!
💫 WHEN: November 13th - November 15th. Arrival starts around 3pm on Friday, the 13th. Programming begins later in the evening and ends with a goodbye brunch and reflection circle by 12pm on Sunday.
What is included:
2 nights private lodging in a historic healing center for women in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

We’re not going to mince words: we are living in some dark times. If you identify as a woman in this world right now, that means you’re probably doing some heavy lifting in the caretaking department. We believe restoring the caretaker is a necessary action - and our creative inquiry into what the caretaker does and how we can support her can be profoundly supportive.
Maybe you are….
Ready for a shift?
Interested in challenging the limitations of a caretaker?
In need of rest, restoration, renewal, or care yourself?
Feeling the wear and tear of impending burnout?
Looking for a fresh perspective?
Motivated to retire, wake up, tend to, or find a new relationship to some of the other roles you want to explore in your life?
Wanting to walk into the rest of the Fall a little lighter, a little wiser, and equipped with a little more self-compassion?
If any of these resonate, this might be the right retreat for you!

We all hold creativity in our bones! This retreat is about taking intentional time in a natural setting to tap into the part of you that is grounded, creative, connected, and inspired.
As licensed Creative Arts Therapists, we believe that creativity is simply another ‘way in’ to understanding ourselves and others. We’ll guide the way, and make a brave space for you to show up for yourself. You do not need to do, make, produce, or be anything!
Part of creativity is simply slowing down. Over three days, we are going to practice this in gentle morning yoga, sharing delicious meals, walking in nature, noticing, journaling, creative therapy workshops, art-making, reflective sound baths, and in the conversations we’ll enjoy along the way.
Simply being present is more than enough.
